World Suicide Prevention Day | September 10

World Suicide Prevention Day is a time to remember those who have lost their lives prematurely, to acknowledge the warning signs of mental health problems and increases the importance of helping people to get the support they need.

World Suicide Prevention Day is observed annually on September 10th, in remembrance of the importance of suicide prevention, raising awareness about this important public health problem, and taking action to prevent suicide.

World Suicide Prevention Day is an annual awareness campaign co-organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Association for Suicide Prevention. It is held each year on 10 October, in recognition of World Mental Health Day. The idea behind World Suicide Prevention Day is to raise global attention to prevent people from taking their lives.
